DIY Banner Love:))

First off i have to say I've done at least 6 loads of laundry which took (a hem) 3 days of course since i have the worlds worst washer&dryer! ..but its all put away!!!!Yes i will pause for applause..
since i will be soon packing for a wonderful vacation trip coming soon i may not be posting regularly. Its VACATION peeps:))
But i wanted to share this craft project that i finally finished with you
I've been working on a Banner for the bedroom and it turned out to be so pretty!!!
I had to share how simple and fun it was to create
First you buy any type and design you like from scrap booking paper i went for a vintage Parisian look
you cut the triangle shape into the paper. I used a ruler to keep my triangles looking good
then you can use any type of string you like. I wanted a more rustic look and went for twine
then you fold over the top parts of the triangles and you can either glue gun it or use two sided stick tape
then whatever lettering you want on it . Mine has no lettering, truly because when i put it up i just loved the way it looked without it.

So you see its simple and so shabby chic and sweet:) i may have to add some to the girls room next!!
Hope you've had a lovely day

P.S. next i want to make some pillows for the bed a living room of course Pintrest inspired!! I will
share all about it soon:)

Have a great weekend! and God bless

Its 9months already..cue in the **tears**

9 months have arrived and all i can say is this bundle of joy has done exactly what her namesake says about her Violet Joy is JOY!!

She has brought a whole different spirit, dynamic into our family. A definite clown and loves to make us laugh. She is every ones baby and we all love to be the first to pick her up when she awakes so we can be the one who receives her sweet big Muppet smile:) The moment this girl wakes up she smiles
she giggles she squeals with delight to see your face. She has taught us to laugh more smile more hug and kiss each other MORE! because those little eyes watch us all with curiosity
she is a gift
she is our blessed gift of JOY
Happy 9 months Violet Joy!

YUM YUM Foodie Expert Guest Post!

I want to introduce you to my dearest friend Jessica over @One Sweet Life
I've been wanting her to guest post for some time
She's the sweetest person i know she blogs about her life as a mama of 4 and often shares one of her great gifts of cooking. Her recipes inspire me to cook and it just so happens i need inspiring in that area
big time!! She is one AMAZING cook
i mean she is the kind of chef that makes food look oh so PRETTY!! and it just also happens to be
delish too!!
And here today she's sharing with you a great recipe: ENJOY
Hello Friend!
I am SO honored that you'd ask me to do some guest posting! Thanks for this amazing opportunity!  So sorry it's taken me forever in getting back to you. The sickness in my house has taken all my spare time
So I was thinking that I could do my Crustini recipe!

Crustinis
One loaf of French bread or other similar bread
3-4 tomatoes diced
a nice size bunch of fresh Basil(about 1/4 cup finely chopped)
salt & pepper
2 cloves fresh garlic finely diced
Mozzarella, Parm , or other Italian cheese shredded
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1.Preheat oven to 350
2. Slice your bread into 1/2 inch slices and arrange on a baking sheet
3. In medium size bowl mix tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper to taste and set aside. Let sit for a 1-2 min and drain extra juice off.
4. Drizzle olive oil over each slice of bread
5. Spoon some mix onto each piece of bread making sure to divide evenly among the bread.
6. Sprinkle with cheese evenly as well
7. Bake in oven for 8-12 min or until edges are toasted and cheese is melted.
8. ENJOY!!
These are good as an appetizer or as a meal with a side salad. these can be made all year long. I love how they remind me of summer in the winter and in the summer are easy and light!  I hope you like them as much as my family and I do!

Thanks again!! :)
Love
Jess

I hope you all had a great Memorial Day

Their courage nerves a thousand living men.

living is so dear..

can i just say one thing that's been bugging me..well about ME
is my list lately of the you know to do list..life list, living, dreaming list
has gotten quite large and with no action behind it
..do you do this?? have you done this?
I'm a huge list person and the life bumps that come along the way either by sickness(kids in my case) or obligations or just plain old being tired and not motivated to live life to the fullest can create HUGE detours from my list!
Which by the way i don't mean that you have to be doing SOMETHING all the time!!
Being present and enjoying all the blessings God has given me is what i so desire. I want my story, my life to be a blessing to others around me
I don't want to compare my life to others and fit life into other peoples box of what it means to live life..but i do sometimes and in the past was a bigger problem for me..
God has been dealing with me on this A LOT over the last couple of years
its not a constant thing but a thing nonetheless that pokes its ugly head into my thoughts when i start doubt what Gods doing in my life or hear and see how much others are able to do..
LIFE is so dear
and i don't want to waste my time comparing
i want to spend my time well
its the most precious thing we have this thing called TIME
whats right for one person in life may not be the best fit for who i am and my family and really i have to make peace with that*really**
Wherever God is taking you in your life its for YOU! you can't follow other peoples road to success or their journey in life because its theirs to take not yours
and if we compare our lives and gifts with
i think we miss out on our very own precious journey to finding out who we are in Christ
living with a thankful heart and loving who you are  starts with being content

learning, observing and taking bits of truths from others story and experiences,
leaving behind what doesn't work or apply to me has been a new process in my thinking
and its been FREEING!!!
My LIFE is so dear God says
and so is YOURS!!
So live it

P.S. A Guest Post from my one of my dearest friends(a blogger herself) is coming on Monday!! I'm so excited to share its something I've wanted to do in awhile and its DELICIOUS..yep its going to be GOOD!!
Happy Weekend friends, and God bless!
